Pokémon Adventure
Pokémon Adventure is a free co-op survivor game for your browser. Fight through the Kanto routes alone or with up to three friends, pick up gems to level up, choose new moves and upgrades, and beat the gym leader at the end of every route.
How to play
The goal
Fight through the Kanto routes, alone or with up to 3 friends, and beat the gym leader at the end of each. High ground blocks you and walking Pokémon; flyers and attacks pass over.
Fighting
Your basic attack fires on its own. Your moves sit on Q W E R, a special one on F: right-click to move, a key and left-click to cast. On phones, the stick and the move buttons.
Level up
Pick up the gems defeated Pokémon drop. Every level you choose a new move or an upgrade; in a party everyone levels up together. Mini-bosses drop chests with extra upgrades.
Your partner
Win or lose, your partner keeps the EXP it earned, and every Pokémon you catch joins your team. Log in to play: your partners grow on your account.
Latest updates
340 moves and sharper gyms
2026-11-02
- The move book grew to 340 moves: 4 for every type at every rarity. 255 of them are brand new, each with its own icon and look.
- Mini-boss eggs now drop on the ground and go to whoever picks them up. The egg rocks, cracks and shows you what's inside.
- Extra mini-bosses keep showing up the longer you stay in an area. They drop gems and coins, but no egg.
- Gym fights are shorter and sharper: bosses have less HP and act more often. Playing the mechanics pays off, since a staggered boss takes more damage.
- Koga's dojo plays differently: the screens now stop your shots too and are always faintly visible. A ninja scroll also leaves Weezing taking extra damage, its Toxic hits harder, and pushing it into the sludge is much easier.
- Move heals are now a flat amount that grows with Power instead of a percent of max HP. Level-ups raise damage, not heals, and Bubble heals each friend once per cast.
- Guard blocks at most half of any hit, so tanks can't shrug off a whole swarm anymore.
- All moves were retuned so each rarity is about equally strong across types. Some changed a lot, so try your old favourites again.
- Waiting outside an open gym portal stops paying off: after 2 minutes the EXP and mini-boss eggs fade, the danger climbs fast and enemies keep hitting harder.
- Route 1's Pidgeotto now arrives at 0:45, well before the portal.
- Level-up cards clearly mark upgrades with "Lv 3 → 4". Past Lv 8 they name the real boost, like "+5% damage", and picking the card gives you exactly that.
- The move bar shows your level ("Lv 3") instead of yellow dots, and pick cards line up neatly.
- The lobby now says it plainly: Adventure is experimental and unfinished.
- Upgrade steps that did nothing now work: Dive, Bolt Strike, Dire Claw, Continental Crush, First Impression, High Jump Kick, Bounce, Dragon Ascent and Devastating Drake land further at higher levels, and Steel Beam reaches further.
Surge, Erika and Koga
2026-10-30
- The run goes on past Misty with three new stops and three new gyms: Route 6 and Lt. Surge, Route 7 and Erika, Route 12 and Koga.
- Route 6 is a coast: the sea blocks you but swimmers cross it, Diglett pop up right under your feet and Meowth drop a coin for every hit. Surge fights you on a harbour deck with electric fences and trash-can switches. Cut the power to drain Raichu, but watch out for the Voltorb.
- Route 7 has Team Rocket couriers carrying TMs, a Game Corner slot machine that bets your team's gold, and an Abra that teleports away. Erika's greenhouse is full of bushes to hide behind, sleep clouds drifting in the wind and a Vileplume you can push into the canal.
- Route 12 is about finding things that help you. Escort a lost Pokémon to the Safari pocket and it joins you as a buddy for the rest of the run: Chansey heals, Scyther slashes, Tauros charges.
- Also on Route 12: a Day-Care egg that hatches as you walk, berry trees to pick from, and Doduo and Rhyhorn stampedes.
- Koga's dojo hides its paper screens until you are close or find a ninja scroll. Pecha bushes cure poison, smoke hides Weezing, and it blows up unless you break its Explosion or take cover.
Eggs, TMs and your own build
2026-10-30
- After every gym you get an egg with one prize inside: a move or item upgrade, an epic or legendary move, or, very rarely, a Duplicator or an Autocast. Mini-boss eggs replace the chests.
- Duplicator makes one move hit twice as hard. Autocast fires a move by itself whenever it is ready and something is in reach.
- Forget a move: with all your moves full, a new one can take the place of an old one. Items can be swapped the same way.
- From Route 7 on, TMs teach a move of any type. Find them on the map, in chests and in Erika's gift.
- Every area now gives you one reroll for each badge you hold.
- Epic and legendary moves no longer show up when you level up. They come from eggs and TMs.
- Foes now follow your partner's level: a fresh level 1 partner can just about beat Brock, and every run's EXP takes it a step closer to the next gym.
- Against a party, a gym boss acts faster, so the fight keeps its pace with more players.
